Martin McRobie

Martin is a Veteran, having served seven years active duty in the United States Army. His current job is Air Traffic Control at Wheeler-Sack Army Airfield. He has controlled traffic for more than 11 years including his time on active duty and now as a civilian. He attained a Bachelor degree from Southern New Hampshire University in 2019. He has since gone on to begin his Master of Business Administration. Martin has spent thousands of hours training, shooting, and maintaining a vast variety of pistols, rifles, and shotguns. He is deeply dedicated to sharing firearm knowledge, awareness and safety with others. Martin’s approach to firearms is very much focused on the benefit of the community. Which, is also his favorite part about owning and operating Denver’s. He has a high regard for building people up and helping them find confidence behind the trigger no matter what level of experience they may have.

Betty

Betty is our full-time store associate. However, if you’ve been into the store then you know that she is actually so much more than her title says. Betty is the most important part of who we are. She represents Martin and Amanda in her daily management of almost all the activity in the entire store. If you need it, Betty is the one who is going to find it. She is an exceptionally hard worker with a high degree of integrity, adaptability, and accountability. Betty is an asset to anyone who comes into Denver’s look for support but it doesn’t stop there. Behind the scenes, she is also highly proficient at teamwork and leadership. She is the type of person who shows up and cares about the job she is completing. We are exceptionally fortunate to have Betty in our store working with us on building up and supporting the community’s firearm rights including access, safety, knowledge, and confidence.

Amanda McRobie

Formerly, Amanda was an I/O Psychology Practitioner with experience in business development. Outside of Denver’s, Amanda owned and operated her own Yoga and Wellness studio called Internal Alignment which has since closed down due to circumstances outside of her control. Unfortunately, her and Martin’s life changed drastically in November 2023 after Amanda was diagnosed with a rare, incurable cancer and was given a short prognosis of 1-2 years. For this reason, you will not see her in the shop like you once would. Even though Amanda is skilled in business operation and organizational development, she now spends her time quietly at home living out the time she has left. She is still passionate about sharing the value of firearm practice and safety with the community. Amanda takes a knowledge-first approach to firearms and believes that knowledge should come before application or practice.

Butch

Butch is a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps as well as our secondary store associate. While he has a vast knowledge of the firearm industry due to his time in service and his overall years of experience, he is also proficient at various types of gun smithing. Most of the time, you’ll find Butch in the store often on firearms. When he is not doing that, he is proficient at finding those firearms that customers want to special order. This is a process that takes a lot of time and research but, Butch always seems to get it done. Having Butch in the store means that Martin and Amanda don’t have to worry about whether or not customers are being taken care of. It also means that Betty has a reliable and trustworthy work partner. He and Betty make an awesome team! Together, they genuinely operate Denver’s in a way where Martin and Amanda have no worry about quality of service and care to the community.
